FRAUD ALERT Issued

FRAUD ALERT: Bank of the James is committed to keeping you informed in the event of fraudulent activity.

Fraudulent activity associated with our Bedford Branch ATM was reported on January 14, 2019.  The fraudulent activity occurred primarily over the weekend of January 11-14, 2019, although we are investigating activity back to Dec 21, 2018.  ATM / debit cards used at this ATM during this time frame will be closed and replacement cards will be issued. Also, all ATM / Debit cards attached to our Bedford Branch will also be closed and reissued.

Customers, please check your transaction history and notify us of any fraudulent transactions. Non-customers, please check your transaction history and contact your financial institution with any reports of fraudulent activity or questions.
