Treasury Services Business Consultant - Harrisonburg / Charlottesville Area

Manages and aggressively grows merchant services and Treasury revenue streams across a portfolio of corporate clients. Accountable for revenue growth, client calling, portfolio development, and building and executing client plans. Support the treasury management leadership team. Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience in banking or customer service required. Public speaking and customer service experience preferred. Proven ability developing new business in commercial market segment preferred. Ability to work independently and work irregular hours. Valid driver’s license a must. Remote working areas include Harrisonburg/Charlottesville, VA.

Universal Banker I - Bedford

Participates in building customer relationships by promoting bank’s products and services to customers through needs identification, maximizing a profitable relationship. Serves in the role of a premier relationship banker, advising clients in their selection of financial products and services, utilizing a needs-based selling approach.  The associate will expand existing client relationships and develop new relationships through knowledge and operational efficiencies of banking services; and will perform multiple duties associated with the operation of a financial banking center to include consumer lending and business development.  High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or three years of proven teller or high-volume money handling  and customer service experience preferred.  Full-time, in-person position in Bedford, VA.

IT Support Specialist I - Lynchburg

Bank of the James relies on our IT systems and infrastructure to help best serve our customers while becoming the region’s preeminent financial institution. We are seeking an entry level IT Support Specialist I who is ready to grow their skills. The ideal candidate will work as a team player who is eager to learn, quick to admit their mistakes, and ready to tackle new challenges, while thinking creatively. In this role, the successful individual will support our critical information, systems, and assets, maintain software and hardware, and provide training, while supporting the overall IT strategy. This position supports our internal users with any questions about applications, hardware, software, and computer systems and requires strong customer service skills.
