Hi, I’m Paula Ironmonger!  For the past 20+ years, I’ve been providing my mortgage clients with highly personalized customer service; guiding them through every step of the lending process.  I believe that the keys to a successful loan closing are listening to my client’s needs and providing frequent communication to all parties throughout the process.  I strive to not just meet the closing deadline, but to ideally be ready to close a few days ahead of schedule.

I’m not your average loan officer, since in addition to processing and closing loans for Bank of The James, I’ve also been responsible for training new loan officers that have come on board.  My experience and knowledge give me unique insight into the complete transaction that most loan officers don’t possess; thus providing a smooth and speedy loan closing.

In my spare time you might find me renovating a home, searching for treasure at a yard sale, exploring the back roads of Virginia or sipping a libation from one of Virginia’s fine craft establishments.
