Born and raised in eastern Rockingham County, Scott Brown joined Bank of the James Mortgage in February of 2016. After graduating from Spotswood High School in Penn Laird, he attended Emory and Henry College and James Madison University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Throughout his banking career, Scott has developed extensive experience in all aspects of mortgage lending. His specialties include construction-to-permanent financing, loans for military veterans, and guiding borrowers through unique and complex purchase or refinance scenarios.
Scott is based in Bank of the James’ Harrisonburg branch, working with homebuyers and homeowners throughout the entire Shenandoah Valley.
